Project: Proposed JEA Utilities Crossing of the St. Johns River, Duval County, Florida

M-AT was contracted by Florida Archaeological Services, Inc. of Jacksonville to conduct a multiphase investigation, which was designed to provide pertinent data to characterize and evaluate the St. Johns River as well as underlying sub-bottom stratigraphy and cultural resources. The investigations included a high resolution sub-bottom, magnetometer, side scan sonar, and hydrographic surveys developed to support state and federal permitting, design, and construction activities for JEA Utilities of Jacksonville, Florida.
