Project: An Archaeological Remote Sensing Survey of Bogue Banks Offshore Borrow Areas, Carteret County, North Carolina

Mid-Atlantic Technology conducted marine magnetometer and side-scan sonar surveys of 18,500 acres in four proposed borrow areas located off Indian Beach, Pine Knoll Shores, and Atlantic Beach, in Carteret County, North Carolina. In addition to archaeological resources, M-AT conducted a search to identify hard bottom/marine habitat areas, using side-scan sonar record analysis as part of the remote sensing investigations.
